This morning I found something interesting in my mailbox.
Someone sent me a message with a link.

“is it your work”? If yes that’s cool – If not they ripped off your work!

Bingo! I’ve never heard about this campaing and of course they never asked me if they can use my illustration.

I made this design in 2009 in collaboration with The Dirty Cream and Kolorys.

I checked the FB link and guess what :

Same thing on the FB banner…nice

Remember my illustration was already copied in Thailand (one of my friend found this Tshirt on a market in Bangkok)

He has drawn together 30+ creatives around the theme of Anaglyph / Red and Blue, exploring illusions and 3D effects along with a visual narrative of ‘Opposition and Harmony’. Stephen Chan and Friends brings: Animation, Surrealism and Papercraft to the table all in the vibrant setting of – Hong Kong – at the serene cafe / gallery ‘Odd One Out’

Here we are!
The Shove it project is ready to be launched

SHOVE IT!

An exhibition like no other. A year in the making, SHOVE IT! will feature the custom designs of over 30 artists presented on skateboard decks and paper toys. Our artist roster features talents from 12 countries, spanning five continents!

THE EXHIBITION

Hosted by Thee Eye Gallery, SHOVE IT! will open the night of June 7, 2013 at the Polk County Heritage Gallery in downtown Des Moines, Iowa. Each deck and paper toy combination will be presented along with some of the original paintings used to create the skate deck art. There will also be a display featuring skate photography, the Baykiddead paper toy collection highlighting the contributing artists past work as well as a history of the paper toy.

Through your funding help, we can make SHOVE IT! the IT event for Paper Toys and Skateboard Deck Art worldwide in 2013.
